I See Through Your Façade

I thought you should know

I see through your façade.

You’re not charming at all,

You’re really just a fraud.

You act like a magician,

And think you’re all that.

But deep down we know

You’re nothing but a hack.

Is that why you’re cruel,

To cover up insecurity?

Or is it that you’re stuck,

In childish immaturity?

You love to play tricks,

Acts of hot and cold,

But I’m tired of the games

They’re really getting old.

So if you stop by again

And knock on my door,

What you’ll find is -

I don’t live there anymore.

I decided to move away

From this old part I played,

The one who tried to please,

But was always left betrayed.

I packed up my belongings,

And left your curses behind.

Knowing I am protected

By seeing truth, not lies.

So goodbye my dear,

This is my final farewell.

For at last, I’m freed

Of your dark magic spell.
