A World of Chaos and Celebrity Clowns
I sat alone in a tree
And looked on down,
At a world filled with chaos
And celebrity clowns.
People preaching of truth
But not saying any facts.
Consumed by arrogance
And their devilish acts.
Selling click bait
Disguised as news.
Preaching at me
That their lies are truth.
I found it exhausting
So I came to this tree,
Afraid of the masses
Preferring time with me.
But a hawk flew by
And perched on my side,
Calling me out
On trying to hide.
The hawk was honest
I found it refreshing.
Telling me it was true
Many things were depressing.
But at the same time
There were many blessings.
Just hard to notice
Through the many deceptions.
Cause those blinded by hate
Don’t want you to see,
That through compassion and love
You get to be free.
For the world is filled
With distractions galore,
From greed, envy, and likes,
And keeping fake scores.
But the truth is that
By connecting to the heart,
You’ll be guided back home
To your own fresh start.
The hawk told me to go
And be with humanity,
And embrace the wild ride
Filled with utter insanity.
Life is a story
Still waiting to be written,
So go share your love
And let go of division.
Listen to your heart
It knows the way,
You are always protected
And loved everyday.
I thanked the hawk
and jumped on down,
Rejoining the people,
And ignoring the clowns.
