I know you feel lost

And don’t know where to turn.

That’s why I light the road

With candles that burn

I light each candle

To guide you home.

So you know you are loved

And never alone.

The path feels dark

And daunting and scary.

But may the lights guide you

To this loving sanctuary.

For you’ve been to war

And are done with the fight.

Here you’ll find safety

And we can reunite.

May you always feel safe

In this home that I built.

With a foundation of love,

Not shame or guilt.

You are always welcome

Wherever I reside.

I wait for you patiently

With love from the divine.

I rest on the porch

Looking for a sign,

Of your homecoming

Where our worlds collide.
